On 2009 and 2010.
We look back, look forward and, most importantly, thank you.

by Graham McFarland, President and CEO of ExpressDigital

Just think of the stories we will be able to tell to our grandchildren and great grandchildren about the world events that took place in 2009 and thankful that we all made it through. I like to remember that we determine whether something will be a blessing or a curse by the way we choose to see it. To look back on 2009, we have a few things to be thankful for coupled with our sincerest appreciation of your support.

This month PhotoReflect celebrates its 10th anniversary and just a few weeks ago we exceeded one billion professional photo uploads since its inception. This is a great milestone and we owe our success over these many years to our loyal and dedicated customers.

DARKROOM celebrated a milestone too, in that; Core edition 9.0 was released with rave reviews. For the first time ever, photographers seeking a complete workflow program that also includes photo editing, Photoshop plug-in, greenscreen, camera tethering and more fulfillment options than ever, can find a solution for under $500. I am delighted that our talented team was able to put this together for photographers -- which really is, and has always been our goal: To serve photographers seeking greater profits as efficiently and inexpensively as possible.

Has Darkroom WE and CE been tested and certified to run under Windows 7 64-bit editions? Christmas is coming and Santa just may have some new equipment! Thanks!

Hey. Thanks for asking! To answer your questions on point:

(1) DARKROOM (all editions) have been tested extensively on Windows 7 and there are no present issues whatsoever.

(2) DARKROOM Web edition works great in 64-bit (always has).

(3) DARKROOM Core and Pro editions will need a 64-bit driver update when you install the security key. It's pretty easy to follow the prompts and works just dandy.

(4) If you do make a purchase (merry Christmas!) and you still have questions, the 64-bit question is handled in better detail in our troubleshooting directory at support.expressdigital.com.

Good luck!
